Established in 1995, Eltech has grown from a small family business in Melbourne into a leading importer and wholesale distributor of electrical accessories to Australia's electrical industry. With warehouses in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, they've built a reputation on competitive pricing, a wide product range, and looking after time-poor customers. But as those customers grew and their expectations changed, the old way of doing things couldn't keep up.

Printed, Retyped, Repeated.

Every online order used to be printed out and manually re-entered into NetSuite by hand. Customers had no visibility of stock levels, no way to see their negotiated pricing online, and no idea which warehouse had what they needed. When something wasn't in stock, staff had to follow up by phone or email to deliver the bad news. For a business with thousands of customers — many of them sole traders ordering after hours, on weekends, and even on public holidays — this was a broken system that couldn't scale.

One Portal, Everything Connected.

Weka Online built Eltech a fully integrated B2B portal connecting their eCommerce store directly to NetSuite. Customers can now log in and see real-time stock across all three warehouse locations, their own custom pricing from over 26,000 negotiated price points, and their invoices and account balances — and they can order any time, anywhere. Since going live in November 2022, online orders have grown from 250 a month to over 1,300 in a good month. Net revenue through the website has increased by 400%. And through all of that growth, Eltech hasn't had to hire a single additional person to manage it.
